The scene that freaked out the Maratha strongman

Putting a full stop to all the speculation about his mysterious fainting spell, Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar revealed after recovering that it was the path-breaking, unprecedented love-making scene between actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, in the queen of the small screen, Ekta Kapoor’s serial, “Bade Acche Lagte Hain” (BALH), that caused him to lose his marbles in parliament.

“BJP MP Smriti Irani showed me this scene, saying that it is a documentary. For a moment, I got so scared, I thought it was me in the scene, wearing a wig! However, the man thankfully had a straight face and was using both sides of his lips to express his affection. However,  before I could realize it, I fainted! Aaah…aaah…my head…someone please get me water”, shrieked the Maratha strongman, before holding his forehead tightly and fainting again, thus making it evident that he is still not over the horror. Eyewitnesses revealed that Pawar’s last words before losing consciousness were “he Ram“.

Smriti, on her part, revealed, “Yes. When I saw this scene, I wanted to share my grief with someone and Pawar ji happened to be seated next to me. I didn’t want this to become another porn scandal, so I used the safe, saving word – ‘documentary’, while showing it to him. Before I could share my angst about Ekta never conceiving such scenes when I was playing Tulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and also happened to be half my current size, he fainted all of a sudden, and had to be rushed to medical help!”

The actor-turned-politician continued with what she is best known for – sobbing – and added, “Ekta, you are clearly not forgiven for this! You just used me as a glycerine barrel and nothing more, when I was with you! In fact, I ended up consuming many liters of glycerine while crying! That’s how I bloated!” She also added that she was inspired by Congress leader Harish Rawat and would start a new sleaze-serial production house of her own. “If Ram can literally get to have a ‘crush’ on someone, so can I ! Am I any less of a heavyweight than Ram?” thundered the once-upon-a-time small screen diva.

Meanwhile, a representative of premier social networking site, Facebook, announced that the scene was  the reason for the site going down for a few hours in the morning. “Well, Facebook is totally cool with people sharing kinky stuff on FB. After all, sharing stuff with friends is the essence of a meaningful life and the cornerstone of a harmonious society. But footage of a fat dude on top of a female going viral was too much for even us to handle. Even Mark is freaked out after seeing it,” said the Facebook spokesperson.
