Historic 1947 Facebook Wall of key personalities on the eve of independence released

The National Archives of India, after painstakingly collating correspondence and interactions between key players in the days leading up to India and Pakistan’s independence, has created a Facebook wall out of it.

This wall provides valuables glimpses into one of the most turbulent chapters in the history of the sub-continent and a tantalizing peek into the thoughts and proclivities of India’s leaders in 1947 and even of some now famous leaders then in their youth.
