Gayle to make his Bollywood debut in Rakesh Roshan‘s Krrish sequel ‘Krrish Gayle’

The devastating Windies opener, Chris Gayle, who has given many a sleepless night to opposition bowlers, is now all set to take a new guard on a different pitch, that of Bollywood. The southpaw from Jamaica will make his B-town debut in the third installment of the Krrish franchise, aptly titled Krrish Gayle.

Shedding some light on the movie’s name, producer cum director Rakesh Roshan elaborated, “The concept of appending digits, as in SpiderMan 2, or giving a banal description of a comeback, as in The Batman Returns, are so yesteryear. With Krrish Gayle, we are treading uncovered grounds.”

The Caribbean muscleman, who is really excited about his new innings as a superhero, surprised many when he revealed that preparations for the movie have been on for a very long time. “Yo maan! Iz no lyk I am a Shahrukh khan or somein’, so shitakes time ta moo. Da flowin’ scarf for KKR, da daance steps ta celebreit wickits are al’ a part a rehearsals. If al goz wel, dis shit is gon’ be real faat maan (sic),” he drawled.

Movie-goers can also look forward to songs choreographed to the ‘Ganganam style’ for which Gayle has been assiduously practicing his steps, even during international matches. One of the songs, a reprise of ‘Dil naa diya, dil naa diya’, has lyrics that start with ‘dot naa diya, dot naa liya, sirf chauko chakko me run liya’.

Insiders reveal that the 3 women found in Gayle’s hotel room were actually Chris’s co-stars in the movie. Two of them were identified as Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra who have worked in Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish respectively. Confirming this, Zinta said, “I play Gayle’s grandmother and Piggy Chops plays his mother in the movie. Gayle had invited us to come over to his hotel room for socializing and we were practicing one of the movie scenes in which I give Krrish Gayle a grandmotherly hug when those jealous, creepy Sri Lankan cops barged in and separated us. So insensitive yaa these Sri Lankans are.  No respect for privacy. Even Dhoble is not so cheap.”

The third women’s identity is yet to be established but a member of the hotel management claimed she bore a striking resemblance to Yoga guru, Baba Ramdev, on whose shoulders Preity was reportedly sitting so that she could reach up and embrace the gentle Jamaican giant when the cops forced their way in and disentangled the trio.

With reports suggesting that the sequel will include the machine that could predict the future, Dhoni has taken a keen interest in proceedings. “Well of course, in my quest to make all matches interesting, I have on plenty of occasions helped the opposition snatch our victory away. But with this device to keep accurate track of the future, I can pinpoint on the ball that I need to accelerate from and safely ensure a thrilling last ball finish,” informed Dhoni .
