Union Agriculture Minister, Shri Sharad Pawar, has taken deep offense at not being exposed by IAC leader, Shri Kejriwal, but rather by a relatively unknown activist, Shri YP Singh.
“I didn’t deserve to be treated so shabbily by the IAC folks. I was looking forward to the honour of getting exposed by Kejri ji when he promised to out some corrupt leaders from Maharashtra. But to my dismay, he did not even mention my name once and focused solely on Gadkari-ji. I have never been humiliated like this before,” wailed Shri Pawar, who was spared further blushes after YP Singh did the needful the next day by doing a ‘mercy expose’ of him.
However, that did not pacify the Maratha strongman who reportedly kept hollering well into the wee hours of dawn: “I don’t want to be exposed by some 2 takke ka activist. I want the best. I WANT KEJRIWAL.” Pawar has now threatened to retire from all walks of public life and therefore from corruption, triggering panic in the corridors of power. Senior leaders have rushed to the NCP supremo’s residence to pacify and dissuade him from doing anything precipitate.
“Politicians are supposed to be thick-skinned and can take insults but Kejri-ji crossed the line here. Everyone knows Sharad kaka is the big daddy of corruption and yet the IAC people didn’t have the decency to do an ‘expose’ on him. Imagine how bad his supporters must be feeling right now that he’s not counted in the top tier,” bemoaned Shri Ajit Pawar, one of the first to call on him. “Kejri-ji should have given the devil his due,” added Diggy, appearing downcast.
Kejriwal has apologized for his error of omission, terming it an avoidable oversight. “I meant no discourtesy to Shri Pawar-ji. I consider him to be as corrupt, if not more, as Vadra-ji, Khurshid- ji and other leaders. I just thought why not be considerate to the less corrupt and let them have their day in the sun. I promise I’ll do an exclusive expose on him soon. He deserves no less,” promised the feisty social activist turned politician.
In related news, BJP has blasted Sharad Pawar for trying to defend Nitin Gadkari. “We thought we had adequately contained the damage stemming from IAC’s allegations against our President. But now Pawar-ji has blown Gadkari-ji’s reputation to smithereens by attempting to give him a clean chit,” lamented BJP leader, Smt. Swaraj.
