Gujarat Congress leader Modhwadia, who had equated Narendra Modi to a monkey and Manmohan Singh to a lion, presumably to offend the former while praising the latter, has achieved neither, and instead managed to get on the wrong side of all animals, who have taken offence at the uninvited and unmerited comparison.
Unreal correspondent Pashu Pakshish was present at the Alipore Zoo in Kolkata to bring to our readers the mood of the four-legged community. “The entire wild fraternity has gone berserk at the insult meted out to their lion and monkey brethren; the howling and incessant clamouring reminds us of none other than the state’s chief ..” he said, stopping short of making another animal-politician metaphor.
Small cubs, which otherwise were having a field day basking in the sun, were terrorised by the news and seen running for cover behind their lioness mothers. “Does this mean, our roars will slowly turn into squeaks as we grow old, mom?” asked an innocent 2 year old, while another prayed, “I might as well as have been born as a pussy cat.”
Even Hollywood film studio MGM has expressed outrage over the asinine comparison. “Modhwadia’s careless statement has done irreparable damage to our image. Already people are picturing Manmohan Singh muttering incomprehensibly in place of Leo the Lion in our production logo. We have become the laughing stock of the world now,” rued MGM president, Marcus Loew.
Expressing solidarity, PETA, The Lions Club of India and Maneka Gandhi have all filed lawsuits against Modhwadia for maligning the image of the entire animal kingdom.
However, Congress President Sonia Gandhi is upset for a different reason. She feels that in bracketing MMS with a lion, Modhwadia may be implying that Dr. Singh is behaving like his mentor, the late Shri Narasimha Rao. Needless to say, Modhwadia may be asked to put in his papers.

Expecting more of the same from more and more Congress leaders, the snakes, dogs, mongrels, cats, bulls, buffaloes and others from the animal kingdom were planning long march to Parliament in protest and with a request to spare them from 2014 onwards.Teams from National Geographic,Animal Planet and other wild life channels have stationed themselves in Delhi for this once in life time opportunity.

Interesting to see UT slowly turning into a pro-Modi bandwagon. I am sure you will not miss dedicated anti-Modi readers like me who actually do know what “communal” is

The piece mocks/lauds MMS n Modi in the same vein bro. We try not to spill our biases (if any) onto the writings. Thanks for the feedback though :-)
